Beginnings
The Jackson family reunion began as a birthday celebration for Eady Elvena Swofford Jackson, wife of Benjamin Franklin Jackson, on July 9th, 1928. It was her 80th birthday, and some 60 relatives gathered at Hancock Park in Lampasas, Tx. With that, the tradition began.
Descendants
Many of today's attendees are direct descendants of B.F. and Eady Jackson. Regardless of how closely or distantly we are related, we all enjoy coming together to reaffirm our bonds as a family and honor our common heritage.
